KEY PEOPLE

Mark Rice

Chiropractor

I began my health professional employment where I worked at Fitness5022 as a personal trainer for 3 years specialising in weight loss, strength training and rehabilitation. Then moved to Sydney to study chiropractic at Macquarie University where I continued PT for another 2 years at Fitness First. Returned back to Adelaide where I worked as an associate at a Chiropractic clinic in Glanville for 3 years until deciding to open my own clinic.

I am strongly involved in all sports like NFL, AFL, Cricket and Water skiing. Family trips to Mannum taught me to water ski from a young age. AFL has always been my biggest passion as a die-hard Collingwood supporter, but please don’t hold that against me!

From a young age I was regularly exposed to chiropractic care, suffering from neck and growing pains. I continued treatment throughout my life due to my height and the demands of football. I wanted to become a chiropractor as it has helped me so I wanted to share my experiences and give something back to the community. I see chiropractic as a great tool to improve posture, relieve acute injuries and help stresses from everyday repetitive tasks. My experience with Chiropractic and PT allows me to not only identify skeletal dysfunction but to incorporate muscular rehabilitation.

Tianna Buick

Associate Chiropractor

My journey into Chiropractic started at a young age growing up on the Sunshine Coast where I was heavily involved in all things sports: netball, gymnastics, dancing and cheerleading. Once I left school, I knew I wanted to be in a career where I could give people the tools to heal and excel at whatever they were pursuing. For me, Chiropractic was an easy decision!

I completed my Bachelor of Chiropractic at RMIT in Melbourne and have undertaken post-graduate courses in FNOR (Functional Neuro Orthopaedic Rehabilitation) and FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation). I specialise in rehabilitation, myofascial cupping and scraping as well as the use of low force adjusting techniques. I am currently completing my Postgraduate Degree in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC).

Since moving to Adelaide I have been working alongside the trainers at Lockleys Football Club where I have been able to bring years of experience and share my love for sports and fitness.
I’m excited to be part of the myCHIRO Team and look forward to working with you!

Courtney Duffield

Remedial Massage Therapist

I began my career as a Massage Therapist in 2016 after completing my Diploma of Remedial Massage with the Australia Institute of Fitness. Sports have always been a huge passion of mine and I have been lucky enough to work extensively with a variety of professional sporting teams. For the past three years I worked with the Adelaide Crows as a Massage Therapist and sports trainer, assisting SANFL, AFL and AFLW.

Growing up I was heavily involved in gymnastics and competitive dance so remedial and recovery massage were an absolute must for me! I am passionate about being able to offer that same service to others. My massage style is a mixture of deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports recovery and relaxation. I look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon!

Danielle Boccaccio

Physiotherapist

Having been involved in competition dance since the age of 3, I have always been curious and interested in understanding the body and movement. As I became older, this fascination then included injury prevention and rehabilitation. After graduating with degrees in Bachelor of Human Movement and then Masters of Physiotherapy, I’ve been fortunate enough to work in the National Premiers League with Adelaide University Soccer Club as their Physiotherapist managing injuries and providing plans for rehabilitation.

In collaboration with a small team in Whyalla, I was a part of the implementation of the total hip and total knee replacement rehabilitation program, which involved strengthening and adapting good movement strategies and education before surgery.

I am a qualified Barre instructor teaching a barre and pilates fusion of exercises to women of all ages. I enjoy modifying the programs for different populations including pre and post natal, overs 50s and various musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

Still being involved in dance at a highly competitive level competing both interstate and overseas, my passion for keeping the body fit, healthy and active is ever present.

I look forward to seeing you in the clinic soon!
